We are excited to launch the Xylorix Inspector app version 3.2 in the first week of 2023, now offering two major automated inspection features: VERIFY and IDENTIFY along with other general fixes and software updates.

VERIFY enables wood verification, i.e. “Is this piece of wood Dalbergia?“. Given a piece of wood with a claimed wood species/genus, if you want to verify whether the wood piece is indeed the stated wood species or otherwise.

IDENTIFY enables wood identificaiton, i.e. “What is the species of this piece of wood?“. Given a piece of unknown wood, if you want to know what wood species/genus does it belong to.
